Robert "Bob" H. Garcia

Robert H. Garcia, the second child of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, was born February 14th, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. His parents, James Garcia and Corine Garcia lived in Commerce City, Colorado for 67 years. Bob attended public school in Commerce City, and became an engineer by trade. He retired from The Pacific Bell Telephone company after 26 years of service, and continued working up until his passing doing various small jobs in customer service.

In 1974 Bob married Christine Schoff, residing in San Jose California. This first marriage produced two boys - Matthew and Jeffrey. His second marriage to Barbara Keating in 1992 produced a daughter named Nicole. His third and last marriage was to Tina Hobbs in 2010.

Bob was an avid and accomplished pool player with more than 50 years of experience. He was ranked as an AA player and had competed in many tournaments throughout the US, as well as playing in a weekly pool league. He also loved to tinker on different projects around his home and work in the garden or on the yard in his free time.

Bob will be remembered as a great pool player, who helped others, and who loved his family dearly. He was loved by his many friends from California to Colorado, by his brothers and sisters, and by his three children.

Bob left this world suddenly due to a massive stroke on March 16th, 2022. He was 76 years old.

A memorial service honoring Bob will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary located at 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229.
