Robert Rodriguez

Robert was born on August3, 1932 in Longmont, CO to Pablo and Pasquela Rodriguez. He was the youngest of 10 children. He married Margaret Sanchez on August 30, 1951 in Longmont, CO. They had one daughter, two granddaughters, and four great grandsons.

Robert had a heart of gold. He was patient, kind, and loved his Broncos and Rockies. He never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. He loved fishing, bowling, and piddling around the house. But above all else, he loved his family, especially his great grandsons. They brought him so much joy.

There is a hole in the hearts of all those that were lucky enough to know him. He left the world a better place than he found it and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Rodriguez; His parents Pablo and Pasquala Rodriguez; His brothers: Benny Rodriguez, Fred Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez and Mike Rodriguez; His sisters: Jenny Mendes, Helen Lopez, Susie Juarez, Josie Lopez and Molly Rodriguez.

He is survived by his daughter: Diana (Mark) Picconi; His two granddaughters; Lynette (Jimmie)

Kaylor and Brittny Bell; His four great grandsons; Zackary Bell, JJ Kaylor, Brady Bell and Mac Kaylor.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:30 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, located at 900 W Midway Blvd., in Broomfield, CO. Interment will follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery, located at 10201 Grant St., in Thornton, CO.
