Ron Robinette, born Ronald Ralph Robinette on March 23, 1959, in Broomfield, CO. Survived by son Nicholas and grandchildren Everette and Hattie. Preceded in death by wife Shirley, parents Edward and Rosemary Belle, brothers Russ and Larry, and a son Matthew. Ron was one to drop everything to help someone, which made him a great caregiver. Starting with his father Edward at the early age of 9 years old, he helped care for numerous family members with kindness, compassion, and strength. Taking care of people in their last years without a doubt was his gift to the world. Memorial service to celebrate his life is to be held Saturday March 22, 2025, at 1:00pm at Dignity Memorial at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery, 10201 North Grant Street Thornton, CO 80229.
There was no way to mistake Ron. After meeting him once, you were sure to remember him the next time your paths crossed. The mixture of his charismatic charm, boyish demeanor, outward confidence (sometimes arrogance) topped off with his Tom Selleck mustache made sure you took notice. However, it was the odd combination of both brash and simultaneously consoling nature of his presence that made you remember.
Ron retired from a lengthy career as an electrician to help care for his wife Shirley. They moved from Colorado Springs to their dream home in Commerce City. His hobbies included motorcycles, aquariums, Pachinko machines, and fixing anything worth repairing (and plenty of which was not). If you needed anything, or had any problem, he would be sure to give everything he could to help you solve it. Ron will be deeply missed by all.
