Rosella "Rose" I. Cavanaugh

83, passed away on July 4, 2015 in Brighton, Colorado. Rose is survived by her loving family; son Michael (Manuela) Cavanaugh, daughters; Kathleen (Thomas) Headrick, Mary Ann (Michael) Yudez, Susan (Lorenzo) LaVoie, Roxanne (Kenneth) Sandlin, and Patricia (Robert) Alvarez, and a son Paul Cavanaugh, brother Fr. Gerald Stremel, 19 grandchildren: Benjamin Cavanaugh, Daniel Cavanaugh, Sarah Owen, Michelle Stoops, Erin Wennberg, Ryan Yudez, Natalie Yudez, Patrick Yudez, Christopher LaVoie, Robert LaVoie, Megan Blanco, Nicholas Sandlin, Stephen Sandlin, Ricky Alvarez, Audrey Alvarez, and Joseph Cavanaugh, also 12 great grandchildren; Makala Cavanaugh, Ethan Owen, Andrew Stoops, Alexander Stoops, Abigail Stoops, Christopher LaVoie, Katilyn LaVoie, Morgan LaVoie, Mason LaVoie, Hallie Jo LaVoie, and Jerilyn Blanco. Rose was preceded in death by her late husband, Jerry Cavanaugh, her parents, Joseph and Katherine Stremel, son John Cavanaugh, grandson Daniel Cavanaugh, brother Edward Stremel, and sisters, Catherine Piro, and Elaine McCallon.

Services, Friday, July 10, 2015, 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica St., Denver. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
