Santo Morelli

Santo Morelli was born on June 24, 1928 to Santo and Rosi Morelli in Youngstown, Ohio. At the age of 86, Santo passed away in Commerce City, Colorado. He is survived by his two loving sons; Santo J. Morelli and John (Julie) Morelli; step-daughter, Marie Louise (Roland) Klein; grandchildren, Jason Morelli and Jeri Morelli; great-grandchildren, Miranda Morelli and Louella Hopkins. Santo also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family in Germany.

Santo and his beloved wife, Maria Morelli were married for 58 years before she passed away in May of 2012. His parents, Santo and Rosi Morelli, along with his 3 brothers, Tony, John, and Ralph Morelli all precede him in death.

When describing Santo; he had a strong work ethic. He retired from the United States Army and continued his career with the government as a postal worker. After retiring from the Postal Service, he continued to share his time with his wife and children. Santo and Maria were members to the Edelweisse German Club where both of them made numerous friends. Santo also loved to play computer card games and was once an excellent chess player.

Santo was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The memories we have together will forever be cherished.
