Sofia Lopez, of Denver, CO, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 in Lakewood, CO. She will always be remembered as a faithful caregiver to all that knew and loved her. She was born on March 28, 1930 in Brownsville, TX.
Sofia was a hardworking, ever faithful, God loving woman. She was always willing to help those in need and offer shelter to her loved ones. She raised up her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with a firm and loving hand. She shared with us her quiet strength through many challenging and triumphant times and helped us all learn the necessity of clean hands.
Sofia is survived by her Daughter, Sylvia, Sister, Yolanda, Grandchildren, Ezequiel, Valarie, Rebecca, Laura, Jeraldine, and Georgina, and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 o’clock on Saturday April 16, 2022 at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
