Theresa Marie (Flinn) Tiemann was born in Scoutsville , Mitchell County, Kansas to Raymond and Eunice Flinn, on October 16, 1933, and passed away on June 5, 2025, in the comfort of her own home. Her family's adventurous spirit led, where they thrived on their family farm until 1962, when they relocated to Jamestown, Kansas. Theresa's academic pursuits flourished in Jamestown, culminating in her graduation in 1951. Following her academic achievements, she moved to Manhattan, Kansas, to pursue a career at the college, where she welcomed two sons. Her journey continued in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where her two daughters were born, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
Theresa and Glenn built a thriving family together, embracing new experiences in Colorado Springs from 63-65. As Glenn's company presented them with fresh opportunities every two years, they moved to Albuquerque NM from 65-67, then flourished in Thornton, CO, East Moline, IL, and finally, Northglenn, CO. In 1972, they realized their dream of homeownership in unincorporated Adams County, where they lived out their lives, surrounded by the memories of their adventures together.
Theresa's remarkable 25-year tenure at Target, where she progressed from part-time cashier to full-time HR professional, was a testament to her dedication and passion. She played a pivotal role at the Thornton and Boulder stores, making a lasting impact on her colleagues and community. After retiring, Theresa selflessly devoted herself to caring for her two young grandchildren, who had lost their mother to tragedy, and her special needs son, embodying the true spirit of resilience and compassion. Her inspiring journey serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, we have the strength to create positive change and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.
Theresa was a pillar of support and love in the lives of her 4-children, 9-grandchildren, 21-great-grandchildren, and 2- great-great-grandchildren, reveling in their passions, from sports to music, and beaming with pride at their accomplishments, inspiring a legacy of love and connection that will endure for generations to come.
She was a compassionate and caring individual who brought people together, forming unbreakable bonds. Her presence will continue to inspire and uplift us, even in her absence.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn Tiemann (60 years), her daughter, Cindy Tiemann and her two Brothers and Sister.
Survivors include; two sons, James Tiemann (Pam) and Steve Tiemann; daughter, Tami William (Willie); 9- grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2-great great grandchildren.
