Waine Leon Risley Sr., age 89 passed away on Tuesday April 23, 2019 in Thornton, Colorado. Waine was born July 27, 1929 in Stratton, Colorado. He served and retired from the Navy after 19 years of service to our country. He married wife Elaine on November 23, 1950 in Norwich, CT and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage.
Mr. Risley is survived by his loving wife Elaine, sons Waine (Sue) Risley Jr., Michael (Judy) Risley, Timothy Risley, Keith (Natalie) Risley, Albert (Linda) Risley, daughters, Karen Cunningham, Julieanne (Kevin) Kowalis, Marjorie Rowe, twenty three grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:15 AM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado
