Wesley A. Lawrence

Wesley A. Lawrence, 66 of Broomfield, CO died Thursday afternoon May 29, 2025, at his home. He was born in Denver, CO on October 15, 1958, the son of Walter E. and Charlene J. Lawrence. He is survived by his wife Myrna Garibay whom He shared his life for the last 17 years, they married on January 16th, 2020.

Wesley attended college at Oregon state University and The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He worked for the State of Colorado in the Department of Unemployment, then started a career in workers’ compensation with Pinnacol Assurance as a Business Director. He retired from Pinnacol Assurance and started consulting.

He was a loving husband and father, with family always at the center of his world. He had a gift for turning the ordinary into something magical. He was smart, fun and loyal to a fault .He will be remembered for his warm and humorous spirit ,and the way he made everyday moments feel like stories worth telling for years to come.

Surviving is his wife, Myrna Garibay, Broomfield, CO; son, Taylor J. Lawrence (Ashley Burt) Westminster, CO; daughters, Lindsay R. Lawrence (Avrom Hill) Lone Tree, CO; Erin L. Lawrence, Eagle, CO; three stepsons, Miguel Garibay, Westminster, CO; Adrian Garibay, Longmont, CO; Esai Vargas Garibay, Broomfield, CO; one grandson, Emmett J. Hill and one future granddaughter.

Preceding him in death was his father. Walter E. Lawrence July 22nd,2021.
