William "Bill" Richard Peldzus, 61, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on May 17, 2026, due to heart failure. Born on July 5, 1964, in Illinois, Bill lived a full and purposeful life defined by hard work, deep loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved most.
Bill was a man who led with action rather than words. Over the course of a distinguished career in technology, he rose to the level of Vice President, earning the respect of colleagues across multiple companies over the years. But for all his professional accomplishments, Bill's greatest pride was always his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for them, to make sure everyone was taken care of, and to build a life that reflected his values.
Bill and the love of his life, Cherie Peldzus, shared 41 years of marriage, a partnership that took them across the globe, from the jungles of Africa to the beaches of Tahiti and nearly every corner of the world in between. Together they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories that will endure for generations.
Bill was an avid sports fan through and through. In his younger years, he was out on the field himself, playing golf, softball, and volleyball. As the years went on, he never missed a game from his beloved Colorado and Illinois teams. He also looked forward to his monthly poker games with friends, those gatherings where his quiet nature would occasionally give way to a flash of charm that made the whole night unforgettable.
He was deeply patriotic, a man who held fast to his beliefs and stood firm in his convictions. Those who knew Bill understood that his steady, quiet presence carried a strength that words alone could never capture.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Megan Brandon; his mother, Sharon Peldzus; and his father, Richard Peldzus. He is survived by his wife, Cherie; his daughter, Amanda (Isabella); his son, Matthew; his sister, Dana Peldzus; and his four grandchildren, Sophia "Kjersti", Grant, Madeleine, and Wilder, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.
May Bill find peace and rest in God's loving arms, reunited now with those who went before him.
A private service for friends and family will be held on June 20th to honor Bill's life and legacy.
