

William E. White, WWII Navy veteran, 86, born in Pueblo, CO on May 5, 1929, went to Our Lord on May 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Genevieve R. White, 82, on October 30, 2014. Upon her death, Bill and Jenny had been married 64 years. Both moved into their Northglenn home in 1960 and the same year became members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an accomplished writer. He was the recipient of numerous trophies and awards for Nat'l Truck Rodeos, billiards, marathons, Leadville and Fairplay burro races and many other running events. In an article of the Denver Post, Bill was given recognition for running in the Boulder Boulder at the ages of 78 and 79. Many volunteer hours were dedicated by Bill to remodeling the convent of the Sisters Of The New Covenant, with special interest to the construction of the outdoor Stations of the Cross.
As a boy, Bill was the head choir boy both at church and school. His children and grandchildren will always remember his voice and gift of story telling.
Preceded in death as children his only sibling, his beloved brother, Jackie. Children: Ladonna S. Craven, William E. White II (deceased), Kevin R. White (deceased), Ronald L. White, Michelle L. Boffey, grandchildren: Chantal Pinnell, Jeanine McClelland, Jenny Giar, Challece White, Jason White (deceased), Melissa Yoder, Christina Diaz, Janelle Dalvit, Adam Boffey, great grandchildren: Taylor, Danielle, and Ryan Pinnell, Jacob and Ian McClelland, Magdalene and JC Giar, Makai Buckley, Bradley White, Natasha, Brendon and Tyler Yoder, Lazo and Isabella Sandoval, Evan and Madeline Dalvit. Great great grandchild: Abel Sandoval.
Services to be Held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233, Tuesday, May 26, 2015, Rosary: 10:00 am, Eulogy: 10:30 am, Mass: 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
