Andrew Darin Bay
13 junio , 1990 – 14 enero , 2020
Andrew Bay of Jacksonville, Texas unexpectedly passed away in the early morning hours of January 14, 2020, in Jacksonville Texas.
Andrew also affectionately known as, Boo Bear, Mister, Rube, Poo, the only son born to Leah and Darin Bay on June 13, 1990. Andrew grew up in Oregon and especially loved the Oregon Coast. He was an avid surfer even in the cold Pacific waves! On July 1, 2017, Andrew married the love of his life, Corina Cearley in a beautiful seaside service in Gearhart, Oregon. It didn’t take long for their beautiful children to arrive… Kanoa (Eazy), Caden (Chunky) and Lillian (Little Bird), who were his greatest joy. He was an amazing father and loved to play, dance and sing with his family.
Andrew was a colorful man. He was so funny, loving and kind. As a child he was happy and very family driven which carried into adulthood. He loved the outdoors-fishing, surfing, skateboarding and camping but the one thing he enjoyed the most was making others laugh. He was a natural comedian – a man of multiple impressions and un-ending one-liners. Andrew was a customer service rep for Dacon Industries and worked there for over 10 years.
Andrew is preceded in death by grandmothers, Phyllis Stanley and Edith Wetzler; grandfathers Norman Bay and Harris Wetzler, cousin Mitchel Bay and uncle Scott Bay.
Andrew is survived by his wife Corina Bay and children Eazy, Caden Bay, Lilly; parents Leah Bay-Vancouver Washington, Darin Bay-Portland, Oregon, sister Rachele Harter-Hillsboro, Oregon, grandmother Connie Bay, Michigan, In-laws Autumn Jones and Luke Cearley, and several other extended family members and numerous close friends.
We are honoring Andrew with a Memorial at Hazelton Betty Ford. They have a connections program that bridges the gap between treatment and recovery and provides accountability and monitoring for people young in sobriety. Go to Hazelton’s website, choose “other program” type “connection recovery coaching”. Choose memorial and type Andrew Bay.
