In approximately 1938, the Bishop family moved from Oklahoma to Tillamook, Oregon. Bonnie graduated from Salem High School about 1947. She and her younger sister, Donna Jean, joined and served for many years in the Campus Crusade for Christ organization. Bonnie spent most of her working years, and retired from, Portland Community College. She was an enthusiastic and faithful proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She never married, but was loving, generous, and supportive of all extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, J.R. and Vera Bishop, sister Donna Jean, brothers Robert and William, and niece Christine Phifer. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Gerkin.
Memorial service will be held 12/03/22 at 10am, at Young’s Funeral Home, 11831 SW Pacific Hwy, Tigard, OR.
