I grew up with Dave, we were best buds all thru school. We played baseball, his dad was the coach, and I remember cruising with him in his Triumph, quite a feat since i'm 6'7". we had some crazy times, and i'll cherish every one of them. Dave, I'm gonna miss you buddy.

Uncle Dave, I used to brag that I had a uncle with a "Classy Mullet" yes I said it "Classy Mullet" if you told him it was a mullet he would say it was not but we all knew the truth! :)
Dave taught me how to snowboard when I was young he also taught me how to never touch his truck :P I don’t know anyone who respected his belongings more and it showed with how kept up they were, I never did get to ride with Dave but was planning on hooking up this summer, I can see it now "hey Dave you think you’re a racer or something?!? why u got all that leather on when you ride"..."oh Shut up Chris, I’m the safe one, have fun picking up your skin if you fall".. you will be missed Dave I didn’t see you much in the last couple of years, but I do have the memories of when I was young like blasting The Offspring on our way to white Pass to snowboard! don’t worry ill try and make sure Michael stays out of trouble, well the most I can.. it is Michael :)

I didn't get to know Dave much,a very quiet person, which was hard around our family. All I know is Dave showed my sister Valerie happiness she had never known before, and I am so grateful for that, She loved you Dave very deeply. We are grateful to have another boy in the family.. Micheal and we Thank You for that ,Micheal we love you.

I never met or knew David but as a fellow motorcycle enthusiast I'm deeply sadden by his sudden and untimely passing. I will assume he was like all the great guys who share their time, knowledge and sense of adventure with fellow ZRX owners and bikers and friends alike. My deepest sympathies to his friends and family. RIP my friend.

I met David when I was 15. I married David in 1979, he was 18, I was 17. David was a very smart, shy, skinny kid, who enjoyed his little Red Triumph GT-6 car, fly-fishing, commercial fishing, martial arts, motorcycles, and our cats. He went to Devry Institute of Technology in Phoenix Az. and he worked while going to school in a Mom and Pop bike shop. In 1981 he graduated from Devry Institute of Technology  with honors, and  he recieved job offers from San Diego, Silicon Valley and Floating Point Systems in Beaverton. We decided that he would take a job in Beaverton to be closer to our families in the Skagit Valley. David bought his first Motorcycle in 1980, while we lived in Phoenix. David almost killed us one summer when he naively took us on a motorcycle ride to the Arizona Mountains in 110 degree heat- we almost died of heat exhaustion. In 1981, we bought a tiny house on Hall Blvd. in Beaverton and David  worked at Floating Point Systems. We divorced in 1983, and I lost track of David over the years. We were like brother and sister, we grew up together; and then realized we were too young to be married. We had never experianced life or even dated anyone else. David was a good guy- always did the right thing and respected life and other beings.  He was a sweet guy, always positive and happy. He loved fast cars and fast bikes. He taught me how to tear apart the transmission of a GT-6 and all about European Sports cars. When he was 16, he used to save up from his job at a gas station, so that he could buy each new issue of all of his favorite car magazines. His bedroom wall was plastered with pictures of all of the cars that he dreamed about. I am sad for David's family and for his son Micheal and wife Val. David was such a pleasant person to have in life, I know that you all will miss him dearly. Kristy Neubo

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter.  And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

Dave (snowrdr) was just a all around GREAT guy.  I met him on a ride and saw him a few times bumping into him in every day life.  The world is less of a place with him in it.  So young, and so tragic.  The upside is, at least it was quick, and there was no suffering.  Endless twisties with no debris, and no speedlimits. :)  RIP Man.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's family and friends.

Val and Dave have been a part of some of the best times in life: boarding, grilling, our wedding, your wedding, random Saturday night dinners and of course, riding. 

Dave, may the roads be twisty, the rivers stocked, the snow dry, the beer cold, and the bikes green. You are missed.

Val, there are more people sending you strength than you know.

Both George and I liked and respected Dave both on and off the bikes and sure enjoyed the times we got to spend with him.  He was one of the good guys. 
 
Val, my heart goes out to you.  I can't even imagine.

Dave helped me change my first chain and sprockets and was always willing to lend a hand when asked.  I've known him ~7 years; such a quiet and unassuming individual with a good sense of humor and heart.  I'm so sorry Val, for your loss as well as your daughters' and Michael.  I hope you all find strength in knowing Dave was so well liked and respected.

Prayers for peace, grace, and healing are being sent for all who knew and loved David.

Dave was at almost every ZRXOA ride or event I attended that involved the great brotherhood of Oregon ZRX riders.  It was obvious that he was a quality individual, and I could see his love for Val when they were both there.  He will be missed by a large circle of friends and family.  Please accept my sad condolences for your loss of Dave.  May God provide those he left comfort and healing.  He left deep and lasting memories in all of us who were fortunate to know him, even if we only knew him briefly.

David and I planned to go fishing a few weeks ago and I was going to show him around central Oregon. We never did get the chance to go. David will always be with me on the water. The Lord called him much to soon and he will be deeply missed. Godspeed my friend and I pray for your family that they will be safe.
