Dustin Michael Trzicky

Dustin Michael Trzicky, 28, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on November 9, 2023. Born on August 30, 1995, in Salina, Kansas, Dustin was the beloved son of Melody Caron and Jerry Trzicky.

Dustin grew up in Concordia, Kansas, until 2001 when he and his mother relocated to Portland where he earned his high school diploma. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, easy-going personality, and his ability to make friends wherever he went. Dustin had a special bond with his mother and was fiercely protective of her. He found a best friend in his dog, fur baby, Mezame.

In his career, Dustin worked as a construction flagger, demolition cleanup, and found joy in his work as an auto body detailer. He took pride in his craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Dustin had a passion for rebuilding BMX bikes, working on cars, and drawing. He also had a love for sea turtles, enjoyed listening to music, and cherished spending time with his friends and family.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Melody Caron; his father, Jerry Trzicky; his grandfather, Ronald Caron; his grandmother, Jonnie Vancil, his grandmother, Judy Trzicky; his aunt, Angela (Nathan) Barnes; his aunt, Amanda Larkins; his uncle, Shawn Wengler; his aunt, Elizabeth Swafford.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Merlyn Trzicky; his grandfather, Kenneth Vancil; his grandmother, Beverly Caron; and his uncle, Lance Trzicky.
