Georgia Joyce Reed

Georgia received her Bachelor’s degree Bachelor’s degree and worked as a nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She finished her working carrier at Tektronix in Tigard, Oregon.

Georgia is a sister of the Gaarde Ward of the LDS Church of Christ.

Her many hobbies included traveling, camping, fishing, gardening, laughing. Some of her greatest joys in life were making people smile and spending time making memories with friends and families.

Georgia is survived by her brother Gene Palmer; Daughter Jeanie Wagner; grandchild Terri Powell; great grandchildren Ryan VanArnam; Dana Fry; Tyler, Shawn, Heidi, Patricia and Julia Powell; Great Grandchildren; Ki and Marley VanArnam; Jocelyn and Lacey Fry.

Nieces and Nephews; Numerous.

Preceded in death by Husband John Reed; Father George Palmer; Mother Laura Busby; Stepfather Everett Busby; Granddaughter Connie Upton.

There will be a gathering at Georgia’s house immediately following the viewing to celebrate her life and the joy that she brought to so many others.
