

LTC (Ret) James C. (Jim) Davis, 70, of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away suddenly August 18th 2016. He was born in Dallas, Texas on September 2nd 1945 and was the son of Alexander James and Elizabeth Cruse Davis. Jim Davis graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. Jim served honorably in the United States Army for 25 years but his government service spanned over 44 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and during his career earned the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Ranger Tab, among other distinguished awards. Jim had a passion for golf and celebrated over fifteen club championship victories at his home course at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Linda Harris Davis, his son Rob Davis of Fredericksburg, TX, his daughter Leigh Little of Portland, OR, his daughter-in-law Heather Davis, son-in-law Matt Little, grandchildren Ryan Davis, Sydney Davis, Aspen Little, and Austin Little. A small private funeral service was held on August 24th at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard, Oregon.
