It is now November 2024 and I have just learned that my friend Joe has passed away.  I worked with Joe at Amazon.  We talked about everything in life...politics, God & the Bible, investing, sports...and so much more.  I'll never forget the great time we had eating lunch each day while working together.  His perspectives were often incredibly funny.  I told him many times that he should be on a stage somewhere...and if he went to Vegas, I'd become his manager.  I think he secretly dreamed of doing big-time stand up.  Sometimes not so secretly.  He would have been awesome.  Joe loved so many things in life...nothing more than his wife Sandy, though.  He talked about her every day.  We only met once, but I felt like she was a very close friend.  I will miss him so much.

It’s taken me a while to be able to write this.  Joe was an awesome friend, and an incredible person.  From karaoke, to impressions, to putting short hilarious videos together, we shared a very special bond.  We could start a funny subject and just go on and on laughing together.  I’ve had the pleasure of about 24 years as friends.  Joe, I will forever miss you, and cherish every minute we spent together.  Love you bud.  ♥️

I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with Joe. He was pleasure to work along side of! My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. I am sure Joe will be missed, but Heaven has gained a  wonderful soul to be sure.

Sandy and family.   Joe worked for me at Amazon.  I remember Joe fondly as he was a great human being and a good PCB designer. He always texted me on my birthday in June.  In fact we exchanged texts just a few days earlier.  

I am so sorry for your loss.  He will be missed.

Although I only knew Joe a relatively short time we became good friends as well as co-workers. Joe was an excellent PCB Designer and was well liked by his co-workers and everyone he came in contact with. We shared our love of sports, music, and wine and ill always remember that big smile of his!

Joe was the coolest of all my brother’s friends. I remember meeting him when I was a teenager and a group of us ran the Bay to Breakers . Joe just had a lively and kind spirit about him. He loved doing his impersonations  of Bugs Bunny and James Bond and would have my brother and I just cracking up and laughing so much. He was an avid wine drinker and would talk about how he visited  different wineries with Sandy.  Joe just enjoyed life. He reminisced on how much fun he had when he visited Europe with my brother (Joe) and Mike back in the day , and being on the train traveling &  buying  clothes at Hugo Boss He would always entertain the crowd by singing a karaoke song at my brother’s parties. 
Joe will be missed.  My deepest condolences to Joe’s family.

My precious Big Brother. His smile , his joy and lessons he taught me over the years will always remain alive in my heart. His love of God and the Hope only Jesus can give us brought him peace and security . I remember when I was 10 years old and he came home from a church called Hague and he gave me my first Christian comic books(which I still have). I will miss him so much. ♥️

My condolences. I knew Joe as a classmate at the Lane tech high School in Chicago and also as a member of our youth group at the Hauge Lutheran Church on Central Park avenue in Chicago... Together, we sang songs about the love of God. We were part of a singing group called The Moving  Trend. I hope that you will find comfort and solace and friends family and in God at this time of your loss.

A Tribute from a Close Friend
I met Joe in 1980 while working at Ampex, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Our shared love for cars, clothes, golf, travel, and margaritas bonded us in a way that only true friends can understand. Over the years, Joe became more than just a friend; he became like a member of my family.

Cherished Memories
Joe had an incredible talent for impressions that could make anyone laugh, and his Elvis karaoke performances were legendary. We took countless trips together, each filled with laughter and adventure.

 Personal Farewell
Words cannot express the sadness I feel at Joe's passing. His absence leaves a void that will never be filled. Joe's spirit, humor, and kindness will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Words cannot express how I felt when I heard Joe left this world. I believe we will see each other again and that gives me comfort. In the short time I knew Joe, we developed a bond and I considered him my brother. He was a great friend and we enjoyed tossing the baseball outside our homes in the middle of the street. Memories of us singing karaoke will never fade. Loved being your neighbor and pray you are singing for the Lord in Heaven.
