Mike was an avid fly fisherman and golfer, he loved traveling both within the states and internationally. In the past few years he greatly enjoyed acting in the Beaverton Civic Theater productions. He was best known among friends and family for his delivery of good jokes. He was wounded in Vietnam on Hamburger Hill while serving as a medic. Mike received his MSW from PSU and went on to spend a career of over 40 years as a Medical Social Worker at Good Samaritan Hospital. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Fullwood Prange, children Amanda Heitkamp (Russ) and Ben Prange (Lindsey) and infant granddaughter; sisters Marge Kucera (Don), Ginny McNall (Ric), Beth Boock and brother Joe Prange; his aunt Rosie Marie Rose and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His family would like to thank the Portland VA for their excellent care throughout the years and Care Partners hospice. There will be a celebration of life held in the future.
