

Pam was born on September 24, 1956 - and was raised in the Portland area. She passed away on April 6, 2010.
Her parents were Darrell and Joyce Ness. Pam had three sisters: Karen Phillips, Staci Hathaway, Kelli Ness. She attended Jackson High School where she graduated in 1974. She went on to Portland Community College, where she earned an A.A. degree. Pam became a Certified Medical Assistant in 1992, and was then employed by Dr. Lawrence in Tualatin, Oregon. She worked with children there, and was given the nickname of "Dr. Lady" by all the kids.
Hobbies: Pam loved crafting - boy did she love crafting. She also loved camping, skiing, boating, holiday decorating, and catalog shopping.
When Pam read, it was always Sylvia Brown. When she watched TV it was Ellen DeGeneres, Opra Winfrey, Days of Our Lives, and General Hospital. She also liked Dancing with the Stars, and Ghost Whisperer.
She was diagnosed with emphysema at the age of thirty-five, and cancer in mid 2009. Pam will be remembered for her caring, thoughtful, loving, giving, and thankful personality.
A memorial service will be held for Pamela on Monday, April 12, 2010. Please join family and friends at 11:00 AM at Young's Funeral Home for a celebration of her life.
