Long time Penfield resident, Bob Phillips died Sunday October 16, 2001 in Tualatin, Oregon. He was 88. Bob and his sweetheart Bea graduated in 1941 from Fairport High school. They were married for 62 years until Bea’s death in2006. They moved to Tigard Oregon in 1989 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Bob worked for Eastman Kodak, loved restoring antique cars, raising dahlias, and fixing most anything. Friends will remember him as a generous neighbor and friend.
His sisters Tudy Larsen, Mary Gropp and Louise Stewart survive him. His children Rob, John, Mary Ann, Mike and Beth, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive him.
Private burial will take place in Portland Oregon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bob’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
