

Wanda was born on September 6, 1924 to William and Ethel Weber living and farming at Axtell, Nebraska. The youngest of four children; Bill Henderson who is deceased, Helen (Henderson) Conrad, of Tigard, OR and Ralph Weber of Summit, MS.
They farmed at Elise, Nebraska for three or four years, and then in December 1928, the family moved to Perkaise, Pennsylvania, where they continued to farm. In March 1929 her family moved to Independence, Kansas. In November 1929, her family moved back to Mindon, Nebraska. In February of 1936 her family moved to Sunnyside, WA.
On September 13, 1942 she married Glen A. Rogers and lived north of Outlook for three years and moved to Grandview in 1949. Glen worked for the city of Grandview and Wanda worked for the Grandview School District and retired as the Superintendent of the school lunch program. Glen died on August 10, 1984. On June 10, 1989 she married George Rogers in Newberg, Oregon. They lived in Grandview until George passed away. Wanda moved to Tigard, Oregon and lived there until her death. Wanda was a member of the Grandview Christian Church, she devoted her time and energy in following the Lord and working for the Lord in helping the church grow. Wanda has one son, Stan Rogers of Pace, Florida. A step-daughter, Linda Jett of Newberg, Oregon, grandchildren include; Randy Rogers of Gulf Breeze, FL, Michele Schaffer of Ogden, UT, Jennifer Bolen of Portland, OR, Michael Jett of Tigard, OR, great grandchildren; Avery and Tyler Rogers of Gulf Breeze, FL, Fiona and Kell Bolen of Portland, OR and Danny Jett of Tigard, Oregon.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Grandview Christian Church on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
