I adored this fine man. A devoted husband. You will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Oleynick at Social Security.  He was always practical, scholarly, and helpful.....a gentleman of the old school.

Your Dad had many friends at Edenwald.  Bill and I enjoyed his company and many parties and want to extend our sincere sympathy to your family.

Harry will always be remembered for his smile, positive attitude, and kindness. Fond memories of times shared with him and Laurie at wine dinners, holiday events, and charter fishing boat trips with captain Joey will remain always. Thoughts and prayers to Laurie and the family.

Marc and Chris- Alberto and I offer our deepest sympathies to you at this sad time.  May his memory be a blessing to all of Harry's family members and the world.  He had a very full life, embracing all life had to offer and left his good on so many in the world.  What a great mentor to all of us who want to live life to the fullest.  We will remember him with a smile and a chuckle as he animated every encounter we shared with him.

Offering my condolences on the passing of Dr. Oleynick. I can't help but remember the tremendous energy and vigor that he always exuded, of someone much younger than his years, and his ability to always find the humor in even his recent illness. I also admire the devotion he exhibited in caring for Mrs. Oleynick. He recently visited us at Social Security, where he worked for many years, and brought cupcakes, as if he needed to bring anything more than himself, for we were lucky to be able to see him again, one last time. Rest in peace Dr. O.

We have so enjoyed our friendship over the years with Harry and Laurie.  We will fondly remember Harry's sharp wit and sense of humor, his happy spirit and his good cooking. We will really miss him. I have had the pleasure of knowing Harry for my entire career at Social Security. He was my mentor when I started and a friend until he left us all.  We were his guests at his home for dinner which he prepared with panache. He was our guest with an exploring appetite (and complimentary no matter how the meal turned out). But I will remember him most for his breadth of knowledge and his capacity at having a joke at the ready, fitting any occasion (and remembering the punchline). We will miss Harry as anyone would miss the sun on a cloudy day, but know that the sun we miss at that time is just above it all.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Oleynick. He was a very nice and caring man. I retired from disability on April 1, 2011 and had the privilege of working with Dr. Oleynick on various disability cases. R.I.P., Dr. Oleynick! My heart goes out to his family.
