Beverly was the beloved daughter of Gladys and Lester Jones, and the apple of their eye. She was born and raised in Slater, Missouri, the second child in her family. Her older brother, Melvin Eugene, passed away at just 18 months. Beverly grew up alongside her cherished cousin, Bob Braun, who was like a brother to her.
She attended Slater High School, where she excelled academically and was active in numerous extracurricular activities. Her leadership and charm were evident through her participation in Student Council, Future Homemakers of America, and her selection as both Homecoming and Court Warming Queen. She also had the unique opportunity to learn golf as part of her school experience—something that would become a lifelong passion.
After graduation, Beverly began working as a nursing assistant at Fitzgibbon Hospital, with plans to pursue a nursing degree. Like many women of her generation, her life took a new path when she met Robert W. Kuhn. They married in Missouri, had two children, Gina and Robert Jr., and eventually relocated to Baltimore, Maryland.
In Baltimore, Beverly worked for many years at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She began her career in the emergency department, later moved to the medical records department, and eventually served as an administrative assistant and coordinator for the GBMC resident program—helping numerous young physicians as they began their medical careers.
Beverly later married Irvin Ebaugh, with whom she shared a joyful life centered around golf. The couple lived in Ocean City, Maryland, and Stuart, Florida, enjoying both the game and the communities they became a part of.
Her interests in homemaking and golf—first nurtured in high school—remained lifelong passions. She was known for her elegant entertaining, gourmet cooking, and the warm, festive gatherings she hosted for her family. Holidays were beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful gifts, wrapped with a sense of tradition and care.
A devoted golfer, Beverly played frequently well into her later years. At her peak, she was a scratch golfer, achieved two holes-in-one, and was part of the winning team at the 1997 Maryland State Golf Association Women’s State Team Championship. She was a proud member of the Baltimore Country Club.
In her Florida years, she gave back by volunteering at a local animal shelter and bringing her dog Brandi to visit residents in senior living communities. She was also a dedicated supporter of Native American charities.
In her final years, Beverly resided at Brightview Mays Chapel, where she was reunited with many of her old golfing friends and enjoyed the companionship of her beloved dog, Brandi. Her family brought her great joy, and she especially treasured time spent with her great-grandchildren: Rory, Elle, Liam, and Bennett.
Beverly's life was marked by grace, generosity, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was the loving wife of the late Robert William Kuhn and the late Irvin Ebaugh; beloved mother of Gina M. Robinson and her husband Clifford, Robert W. Kuhn, Jr. and his wife Ronda; cherished grandmother of Kathleen M. Robinson Pencek and her husband Connor, Clifford A. Robinson Jr., Garrett P. Robinson and his companion Sidney Doll, Brandon Kuhn and his wife Meg and Mitchell Kuhn; great grandmother of Rory Pencek, Liam Pencek, Elle Kuhn and Bennett Kuhn. Beverly is also survived by her cousin Bob Braun and his wife Suzanne and her dear dog Brandi.
