Loving husband, father and grandfather, Bruce James Wong, 65, passed away on October 8, 2017 in Lutherville, MD surrounded by family. Originally from Wellesley, MA, Bruce spent the majority of his professional career as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and teaching at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved ballroom dancing with his wife. He is survived by wife Shirley, daughter Stephanie and Peter Farrell, son Michael and Caitlin, and grandchildren Emily and Aidan Farrell.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the United Parish of Auburndale, 64 Hancock St., Newton, MA 02466 on Saturday, October 14, 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Carroll Center for the Blind in 770 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458. We will all miss his generosity and compassion.
