Elena Bogatyreva, 50, passed away on July 1, 2023; loving wife of Alex McNamee; beloved mother of Maximilan McNamee; devoted daughter of the late Peter and Nina Bogatyrov; dear sister of Valery Bogatyrov; and fond aunt of Elena Bogatyreva.
Elena loved music, family, friends, children, animals, and nature. She had a Master's of Art from the Tomsk Music Conservatory, and enjoyed teaching piano and music to her students, especially children. She treasured the friendships she had from the Olenka school of music, and the JCC. Her favorite days were spent at the swimming pool, walking on the beach and through nature, and at the concert hall; especially with Max.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm. Elena’s life will be celebrated at 3pm.
