

Frances M. Lindberg, passed on April 15, 2026, at the age of 101, born January 10, 1925, in Newark, New Jersey. She returned to Baltimore, Maryland in 2020 from Mesa, Arizona where she and her husband had retired. She was the beloved wife of the late George R. Lindberg; devoted mother of Faith Sullivan and her husband Denis, Nancy Sloane and her husband Marc, Jamie Lindberg and the late Richard Lindberg; cherished grandmother of Tim, Scott, Erin, Jeremy, Emily and Sebastian; loving great-grandmother of Aiden, Ash, Lily and Isla; dear sister of Ann Arnold and the late Gloria Skipper. Also survived by one niece, Lori and beloved sister-in-law, Marion.
Fran was a woman of faith and led an active life well into her 90s volunteering at the food bank, historical museum and local hospital and supporting the mission and works of Brown Road Baptist Church in Mesa.
She loved being with family and maintained relationships with long-time friends and neighbors. Fran was an excellent baker and cake decorator, making elaborate birthday and wedding cakes for those she loved.
She and George had a passion for traveling especially to the U.S. national parks and had visited all 50 states. After his passing, Fran moved back to Baltimore to live in the homes of her two daughters. She read the Bible daily as she had done her entire adult life, exercised and enjoyed puzzles, detective novels and spending time with her family.
Donations may be made in Frances's name to World Vision, to help children around the world.
A celebration of life will be held this summer. Services to be announced.
