I would first off like to send my respects to my Grandfather and my family in this time I did not know of this moment until a relative informed me and I would like to say how sorry I am for the loss of Gloria Norris may she rest in peace and watch over us all.

There Must Have Been A Reason
This time last year, none of us would believe there would be a funeral for Gloria today!  This is sending another clear message to me, and I hope to all of you, to live your life now and for the day, because tomorrow is very uncertain. I have had several of these messages delivered recently.
Gloria didn't care much for show. I figured it must be her way of making a nice clean look for her final day...or she is saying, she really wasn't ready!  
Some childhood memories to share;  Her favorite saying was "Neat and Tidy" keeping our home spotless enough for a picture in Better Homes and Gardens".  Food was not important to her, so she ate little and was done quickly, so she could get to the clean up.  She would hover over the dinner table to get things cleaned up the instant you finished.  I gained a lot of weight once I left home!
Gloria worked retail her whole career. She had Tuesdays off and would sleep late and then clean!!! You had better find somewhere else to be on Tuesday!  I'm sure heaven will be a little more polished with her there; at least on Wednesday. 
This last month has been difficult for us close to her.  We knew how much she was suffering.  She was kind, caring, loving and thoughtful. She could be stern, but in a lesson teaching way, never raising her voice. Her positive attitude, strength and faith gave Gloria more time than expected after her diagnosis.  She even put up her Christmas decorations. In trying to find answers, all I can think is...There Must Have Been A Reason we don't understand!

JOE WHEN I GET TO THE GOLDEN GATES I THINK I WILL HAVE TO ANSWER A FEW THINGS THEN THEY WILL OPEN FOR  GLORIA THE GATES WERE WIDE OPEN WAITING FOR HER

My dear sister, we love you and miss you. However, there are a lot of good memories to help comfort us. May you rest in peace.

joe  I  don't remember seeing you a lot  but I have to tell you  that Gloria wa like a sister to me I was so sorry  that she had to leave all these people that worked with her and really loved her I was there at Kmart for 11 years when I had a problem I went up stairs and talked to her I  k am so sorry I did not get to see her but I want to remember her  the way she was she will have a angel looking over her and god bless her and the family

 My thoughts and love to my dear friend's family. We lost a wonderful lady much too early in her life. She put up a hard fight and never let us know her suffering,but always put others first. I will miss her very much in the days to come,and will never forget our love of gardening. Rest in peace my friend.

To one of the kindest people I have ever known.  Gloria, may you rest in peace.  You fought this horrid disease with the same valor and class that you fought with for your employees.  All who had the good fortune to work with or for you will remain better served for the opportunity.

To all family members of Gloria M Norris.My heart goes out to all of you, She was such a beautiful lady, I was a part of her family for many years, I will never forget all the good times I spent with her, Sis and Baby as they were called when   I joined the family so many years ago. Although things changed through the years we still stayed friends, Memories are to hold on for eternity, I can remember one of the memories as we were little devils, I was married to Daniel and I got away with so many tricks that we played of her and sis, (Shirley)  and Gloria  Baby (Lorraine) Pulled a trick on them, I took Lorriane for a drive in Daniels car and when we came back we went upstairs and I hung Lorriand out the window and she tapped on the living room window, Well that was a mistake as they called the police mostly because there was a fire in the field and we knew nothing about the fire and we were so scared, Sis and Gloria came running up the steps yelled at us to get out of the house, That some one tried to get into the house as they knocked on the window, Then we told them no that we were the ones that did that but did not start the fire, Boy were we in trouble. Well that was the last time we ever did something like that, Gloria and the girls were a great part of my life as they always called me their favorite Sister In-law, Love you all and the memories will last forever, So its time to say goodbye you will always be around us one way or the other. Our sincere sympathy for your loss. We will think of Gloria as being in a quiet and beautiful garden surrounded by the flowers she loved.  She was a brave and remarkable lady and we will miss her.  May she rest in peace.

I will miss looking out my mothers dining room window and watching Gloria work in her beautiful flower beds. Gloria had a love for a well kept yard and flowers and labored many hours to achieve her love. She will be missed.
