

Jane M. Wilkins, 91, passed away on June 12, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, resilience, and boundless generosity. Despite losing her sight to Macular Degeneration at a young age, Jane's spirit was never dimmed. She was a woman who could fix anything, always ready to help. Jane enjoyed her cars. She would get a new Cadillac, Lincoln Town Car every year for many years and would be sharing her cherished cars with family and friends for trips or special events.
Jane worked as a Rewinder at the Western Electric, Burnie Highway Plant. Outside of work, her life revolved around her beloved family, loved ones and her passions. She hosted memorable Sunday cookouts, celebrated every holiday with gusto, and transformed her home into a dazzling Christmas display that even caught the attention of the local newspaper.
A true animal lover, Jane adored her pets, including Spot, Susie, Dory, and her adopted furry companions, Ruby and Lilly and sometimes Duke. She found joy at her condo in Ocean City, Maryland, shared with her brother John. She took immense pride in her spotless home and abundant vegetable garden, always eager to share its bounty. Her deviled eggs and pierogis were legendary, enjoying a Natural Light and a pizza with everything on it at Pizza John's.
Jane was the loving wife of the late Richard Wilkins, and devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Richardson. She was the beloved sister of her twin June Lazoff, Patricia Lazoff, and John E. Richardson, Joseph W. Richardson, Jr., and Charmaine Christ. She is survived by beloved nieces and nephews Debbi Ragon, David Lazoff, Cynthia Topolski, Shelia Neslein, Lisa Mabry, Stephen and Michael Lazoff, Kyra Spurgeon and Jayna Whitt, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; She is also survived by her sister-in-law Bobbi Richardson; she was also survived by her cherished grandchildren to Sarah and Austin Flagle. She was a loving Godmother to Debbie Ragon and Kyra Richardson.
Jane's unwavering kindness, her infectious generosity, and her remarkable ability to embrace life despite challenges will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Jane’s life will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:30 AM. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery.
