John H. Workman, 85, passed away on December 13, 2017; loving husband of Marilyn Workman (nee Bennett); beloved father of Sara Sergent and her husband Brian, Tim Workman and his wife Lisa, and Will Workman and his wife Patricia; devoted son of the late C. Homer and Esther Workman; cherished grandfather of Alex Workman, Ben Workman, Amanda Sergent, Josh Sergent, Frances Workman, Jane Workman, and Andrew Workman.
The family will receive friends at the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM.
A Memorial Service celebrating John’s life will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church, 5407 N. Charles St., Baltimore, Maryland 21210 on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Mr. Workman’s memory to West Virginia State Park Foundation, 324 4th Ave. South Charleston, West Virginia 25303.
