In 1988, Jude proudly founded JT Lawn Service, a business he poured his heart and soul into for decades. Through his work, he built not only beautiful yards and gardens, but also long-lasting relationships with customers who became friends. His dedication, strong work ethic, and stubborn determination were matched only by the care and loyalty he showed to those around him.
At home, Jude found peace in the simple joys of nature. He lovingly tended to his flower and vegetable gardens, surrounded his yard with bird feeders, and found daily happiness in watching the birds gather there. He enjoyed grilling outdoors, traveling each year to Delta, Pennsylvania to visit Susquehanna Orchards, Inc., and capping off the trip with a sweet treat from Bonkey’s Ice Cream Shop.
Jude also shared his life with his beloved Labrador retrievers, Finn and Cole, who were his constant companions. His home was a place filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Jude will be remembered for his stubborn spirit, caring heart, and the way he devoted himself to his work, his gardens, his customers, his family, and his dogs. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew him.
Jude is the beloved son of the late Aubrey and Helen Taylor; dear brother of Jacqui Potter, and David Taylor and his wife Karen; cherished uncle of Andy Potter and his wife Kelly and Erika Crowl. Jude is survived by his faithful dogs, Finn and Cole, along with other loving family. friends, and loyal customers whose lives he touched throughout the years.
