

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Lynn Wimberley Carrozza passed away peacefully and is now reunited with her parents Donald and Hinda Wimberley and son Donald Clayton Carrozza. Lynn was the beloved wife of James H. Carrozza, Jr.; loving mother of Kaitlin E. Carrozza (Arjan Berkeljon), Evan J. Carrozza (Bailey) and the late Donald Clayton Carrozza; cherished grandmother of Max, Jules, Leah, and Rosamund; dear sister of Cynthia Brashear (Robert); also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
A graduate of Union Memorial School of Nursing in 1978, Lynn’s working career spanned 40+ years and encompassed a variety of different nursing roles in the Baltimore area. Lynn was ardent about her service to others, often working long hours without complaint. Conversations with colleagues and peers always included heaps of praise and respect, a testament to her work ethic and the admiration she held.
Lynn was a woman of resilience who overcame life’s challenges with quiet strength. She was a quick wit and could find humor in everything thrown her way. Vibrant and passionate, Lynn had many hobbies and interests. She loved cooking, always researching new ingredients and recipes to try. She often hosted family and friends at her home in Fallston, a place that brought her great peace. In the warmer months Lynn could be found outside gardening and planting flowers to enhance her yard. An avid reader, she always had a good book to recommend to others. Her spark for life was typified by her beautiful laugh and smile.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 3-5 PM.
Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Lynn’s memory.
