Marie E. Friedman

My mother, my babydoll, my girl Marie E. Friedman of Timonium, Maryland passed peacefully at 99 in my arms early Monday Morning April 6th, 2026. She is at peace, surrounded by her loved ones, family and friends in Heaven.

Marie is reunited with her beloved husband, Howard E. Friedman, and members of the Friedman Family. Marie is back home with her father, Roger Hebb Day, mother, Daisie May, sisters Evelyn, Lou, Daisie Pearl and brother Howard. Friend and Carer Carol Greene will also welcome her home.

Marie leaves behind daughter Nancy, son-in-law Scott Mescon, and sons, Roger and Wesley Friedman.

Thank you to Peregrine Assisted Living, Syracuse, New York and her health aides who have become good friends and sisters to me and Marie.

Marie was the epitome of goodness, kindness and love. I am my mother's daughter and she instilled in me to be kind and have courage. She was a magnetic presence full of humor, joy and light. Marie had a will and determination to live and thrive with dignity and grace. I shall miss her calling out "hey" in the middle of the night, our lunches, naps, our shopping and her laugh. My life has been forever changed because she is no longer here with me. I will cherish and love her always and forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium, on Thursday (4/16) from 12 to 1 pm. A graveside service will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium.
