Mary A. Pace

Mary A Pace, on April 17, 2023, Caring wife of the late Maurice R. Pace; Devoted Mother of Beth Miller and her Husband Rob, Cathy Lilja and her Husband Bob, Jean Winand and her Husband the late Bruce, and Rob Pace and his Wife Wendy. Loving Grandmother of Jason and Danny, Kristin, Matthew and Dave, Garrett, Ned and Stephen, and Spencer, Mandy and Andrea. Great-Grandmother of Jackson and Naomi, Paisley, Lucie and Cameron, Cooper and Griffin, Hannah, Noah and Zachary, Holly, and Miles.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Brooklyn NY where she was the youngest of 7 to Giuseppe and Rosario Melomo. Education was very important to her family and she attended her beloved Fontbonne Hall Academy and St Joseph’s College. Soon after Mary and Maurice were married on November 7, 1953, they moved to Baltimore where she switched her love for the Brooklyn Dodgers to the Baltimore Orioles. They settled in to raising their 4 kids and embracing the Baltimore traditions while making many lifelong friends.

Mary shared her love of music, dancing, literature, history and anything British, with everyone she met. Mary never stopped being curious and learning new things. She loved to travel and in particular enjoyed her summer family vacations at Bethany Beach. Mary started a family Christmas Cookie baking tradition with her niece Mary, which began over 45 years ago. This will continue as a beautiful tradition to honor and remember them both in years to come.

If you knew Mary, you knew her smile, which always seemed to brighten up a room.

A visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Rd., Timonium
