Dear Kim and Family of Mike,

I grew up two doors from Mike back in Moosic on Birney Ave. We spent many years playing in our backyards just being boys!  He and his family were so kind/generous to me and others. He was an inspiration to others.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep up your faith...God Bless.

I am grieving your terrible loss from Australia. When I met Mike at moving in day at St. Mary's, I felt an instant bond to a fellow father of two beautiful teenage daughters. We joked that we were like "in-laws", having our daughters rooming together, launching their college careers together at St. Mary's College. Judy, Laura and I drove home from that moving in day, buoyant with the knowledge that our precious Lizzie had Megan as a roommate from such a wonderful family. I suddenly lost my mother when I was in graduate school, so I have a personal appreciation of the devastation that Megan and Amanda feel. My heart goes out to all of you in this trying time. I hope that you can cherish those wonderful moments that you had together and that you are able to lean on one another in the days ahead.
