My deepest condolences for your loss.  Although I only knew your mom a short time during our college days, she struck me as a very kind and fun loving person.  I remember her fondly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Shortall was my favorite teacher at Rogers Forge elementary, she always had a kind smile or the right words to give me encouragement. I remember thinking she had the most beautiful hair - and that I wanted to grow up to be as pretty as she was. I hope your happy memories of her will bring you peace.
