Shelia, keep smiling, laughing, and being so kind to everyone.

She will be missed by her family and loving son, Chad

I first met Shelia when she volunteered to coach a recreational soccer team where my daughter Pam and Chad  first played.  She always had an infinite amount of patience as the young children often became distracted from playing the actual game. We became good friends at Greenbrier Presbyterian Church.  Shelia loved helping people. She was active in fellowship, attending the senior group called Golden Treasures. She participated in all aspects of the church. She loved to talk to people one on one, especially the young people. Shelia had the gift of being a good listener which is why probably excelled in counseling at the high school.  Her faith in the Lord was strong. I will miss her.

Sheila was a loyal church member at Greenbrier Presbyterean Church. She brought clear thoughts to the sunday school class and visited church members when they were hospiatlized.  She was proud of her son Chad and helped church members whenever she could

She led a holy life of faithful service to God, family and her dear son, Chad.  One could always breathe deeply in her freedom of unconditional love and the benevolence of God's embrace.  She expressed authentic kindness & compassion and brought people into the light.  Being her twin sister we always led each other to a place of peace, presence, and true purpose whether together or apart.  Our bond and unwavering love shared over a lifetime will never be replaced. Shelia's love lies within my spirit and will illuminate my soul forever.  For now we will meet in the garden of memories....rest in love dear, sweet twin sister.

My Aunt Shelia was one of the most loving people I’ve ever known. She devoted so much of her time to me and my sister when we were growing up, creating countless cherished memories—from our childhood all the way through to when I had children of my own. We are deeply grateful for her love and presence in our lives. Though we miss her dearly, we find comfort in knowing she’s in a better place.

Sheila was steady, dependable, and rooted in her genuine care for others. She loved her family fiercely, and her faith was a guiding light in everything she did. We spent many hours together, at Boy Scouts, community gatherings, church events, and other activities with our boys.

Sheila touched so many lives through her kindness, her selflessness, and her quiet strength. Her passing leaves a real void in our hearts and in our community, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide those of us who were lucky enough to know her, She was truly a special lady, and she will be deeply missed.

I met Sheila in the early 1990's when our sons joined the same play group, and what began as a casual connection between two moms quickly grew into a last friendship. Over the years, Sheila became so much more than a friend--she was a trusted neighbor, a presence in our church community, and someone I knew I could always count on.

Growing up, Sheila was like a second mother to me. Her home was always a warm, welcoming place where I felt like one of the family. I have so many fond memories of afternoons spent with Chad playing video games, racing Matchbox cars, or running around with our Nerf guns. She’d always have bologna sandwiches ready for us, with chips and a cold Pepsi, making even the simplest days feel special.

There are truly countless memories I carry with me—of laughter, comfort, and the feeling of being loved unconditionally. She had a gift for making kids feel seen, heard, and cared for. As our Cub Scout leader, she led with kindness, patience, and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all of us. She treated me like her own, and that love has stayed with me through the years.

There’s no doubt in my heart that someone as loving and generous as her has gone straight to heaven. She made the world better just by being in it, and she’ll always be remembered with deep love and gratitude.
