Steve was always so kind, positive, and supportive. I remember his easy smile and the love he had for his family. Although it's been many years since I saw him, I'm so very sorry to hear of his passing. I wish there was something that could be said to alleviate the pain. In the 20+ years I have known Steve, his kindness, generosity of spirit and friendship was an absolute constant. He was not only a great co-worker but also a terrific friend -- but most importantly a wonderful husband and also an amazing father to his three girls (and grandfather to Bryn).  I know how proud he was of these girls -- and his giving spirit will live on through them.  
May Steve rest easy, and may your family be lifted by all of the love shown for Steve in these days and the days to come.

Steve was a friend since 6th grade. Steve  was  always fun to be around.  Rest In Peace Steve.

I will be forever grateful to Steve and his "posse" for their volunteer efforts at the Harford County 4-H Club Camp.  Steve showed up with a couple of 4-wheelers and several of his friends to run traverse and locate property corners around the 185 acre property for many Saturdays.   His efforts, and others in the DMW family, have allow  this camp to thrive and it will remain there for generations to come.

I had the great pleasure of getting to work with Steve. It didn't take long for a colleague like Steve to quickly become a friend. He took interest in people and was easy to talk to. He cared about people and was never too busy to stop to chat for a few minutes. Steve's joy for life was honestly contagious and we are all better people for having known him. I surely look at life differently since knowing Steve - finding the simple joys and taking the time to just enjoy the day with a smile on his face and love in his heart for his family and friends. My love and condolences are shared to all that knew and loved Steve.

We will miss his smiles.  He was always so kind and friendly at the pharmacy.  Our prayers are with your family.

Heidi and Girls, hearing of Steve's passing was very sad news. He was such a great resource at KCI whereas he bailed me out of trouble many times with his survey crews. Equally, he was an exceptional friend as we took each other hunting and fishing many times. We have some great memories and had some of the best of times together. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cumor Family.

Heidi and family,  I just heard the sad news today and I am so sorry for your loss. We have not seen each other for a while but always thinking of Steve and you all  He took me on my first rockfish trip and without him I probably would never had the chance. I told my son Brooks and he told me that he was just talking about Steve today with one of his clients he and Steve had gone fishing one time and because he had used spider line Steve nicked named him Spider-Man.  We will always miss him .   Prayers for you and your family 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Heidi and family, 

Since graduating from Towson, I only ran into Steve a few times, each in the morning on our way to work. Although each time was just a few minutes, it was nice catching up and reminiscing about the fun we had in the classes we shared. We laughed that he no longer had the curls and about how fast time had gone since we left THS. One thing I noticed, he never lost his fun personality and great smile.
I pray each of you will find comfort and peace in the wonderful memories you shared. I could tell by what he shared on Facebook that he loved, and was so proud of his family.
