Thelma P. Hayes

Peacefully on December 17, 2014 Thelma Pearl Hayes (nee Clarke) of Hunt Valley, Maryland formerly of Joppatowne and Perry Hall died at Maryland Masonic Homes, Maryland; beloved wife of the late BT Hayes; devoted mother of Rena Robey and the late Gregory Hayes; loving grandmother of Justin and Taylor Robey, Amy Hoffman, Kelli Binesar, and Adam, Abby and Audrey Hayes. Thelma was born in Flatwoods, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Edward Clarke and Bessie Fannin Clarke.

Mrs. Hayes, who retired from the Harford County Public Schools, also worked for the C&O Railroad. She was active in Joppatowne Christian and Rosedale Baptist Churches as well as enjoyed sewing, music and spending time with family. She was also a member of Mistletoe Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

The family will receive friends at the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 12:30 to 2PM at which time a memorial service will be celebrated at 2PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Thelma's honor to Maryland Masonic Homes, 300 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
