

She was the daughter of Frank Berry and Maud (Norris) Berry.
Edna immigrated to the United States with her parents in 1929. She worked for several years at Bob Reece Motors and later retired from Owens Illinois.
Edna was an artist who enjoyed painting and joining a golf league after retirement. She also was an avid gardener.
At the age of 65 she received her first driver’s license and went on to drive for 30 years. Edna was a longtime member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church and Daughters of the British Empire.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Evans, who had immigrated from England and son-in-law, Carl Kaminski.
Edna is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Kaminski and Lynn (Joe) Thurston, five grandchildren, Kevin Kaminski, Gregory Kaminski, Stacy (Howard) Roeschlien, Steven Thurston, Pamela “Sue” (Kevin) Grotke, great grandchildren, Sam Roeschlien, Jack, Ryan, and Kate Grotke.
Visitation for Edna will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd 419-473-1301 on Friday, June 17 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5240 Talmadge Rd. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Toledo Art Museum or to St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
