Arnold C Moore

Arnold Clyde Moore 78 of Tollesboro passed away Saturday August 9, 2014 at his home. Born November 16, 1935 to the late Ottie and Matilda Prewitt Moore. He was a member of the Galilee Christian Church and Tollesboro Lions Club, retired from Browning Manufacturing, a farmer and Driver for Licking Valley. Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter Carmella (Carl) Haight of Flemingsburg, sisters; Alma Moore, Vanceburg, Julie Rehn, Flemingsburg, grandchildren; Derek Moore and Carla Haight; daughter in law Becky Moore.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Erma Jones Moore; son Greg Moore, brother; Lewis Moore, sisters; Flora Toller, Blanche Toller, Edna Fite, Jeanetta McCann, and Roena Moore.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014, 11 AM at Barbour and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Cropper and Bro. Johnny Byard officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derek Moore, Elden May, Ray May, Bob Bane, Allan Bane and Jim Meadows. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Thomas, Arthur “Big Boy” Applegate and the Tollesboro Lions Club Members. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
