

Beulah Marie Meadows, 86, departed this life Tuesday morning, October 13, 2015 at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville. Beulah’s greatest joys were her family and cooking for all those she loved. Beulah Enjoyed giving and caring for others and taught her family to do the same. Her happy life reflected her love for God and her church. She was a member of the Tollesboro Christian Church.
Beulah was born June 16, 1929 in Poplar Grove in Fleming County to the late John and Jenny (Gardner) Turner. Beulah is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Howard Wendell Meadows. They were the parents of 4 children, Gerald (Linda) Meadows, Kenny (Janet) Meadows, Marilyn (Harry) Applegate, and Jim (Jennifer) Meadows; 7 grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) Applegate, Gera Henderson, Wes (Brooke) Applegate, Kendra (Joey) Marshall, Kenton (Sarah) Meadows, Matthew (Jill) Meadows, and Amanda (Josh) Hawkins; 16 great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Maggie Henderson, Morgan, Tanner, Tori, Madison, Bradley, Alayna and Brady Applegate, Isaac and Leah Meadows, Jenna and Katie Marshall, Mollie Meadows, Kevin and Clara Hawkins.
Beulah is survived by her sisters, Elenora Kearns and Helen Sanders; brother James (Norma) Turner and brother-in-law Bobby Hickerson. Beulah was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Hickerson and brother-in-laws Bill Kearns and Earl Sanders.
Services will be held, Saturday, October 17, 2015, 11 AM at the Tollesboro Christian Church with Bro. Layne Wagner and Bro. Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Meadows, Kenny Meadows, Jim Meadows, Robert Applegate, Wes Applegate, Kenton Meadows, Matthew Meadows and Harry Applegate. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirby Wright, Sammy Applegate, Deanie Applegate, Billy Mason and Randall Meadows. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 5-8PM at the church.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Beulah’s honor to: Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY.
