Danny Butler, Sr., 65, of Manley Hollow Rd., Vanceburg died January 17, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Vanceburg. He was born in Lewis County, KY on November 14, 1947 the son of the late Russell and Lenora Thoroughman Butler. Survivors include two sons, Danny Butler, Jr. and Roy Butler; grandchildren, Dean, Russell, Amber and Michael, great grandchildren Brendan, Brea, and Chloe, and one sister, Edith Thurman and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Ruark Butler, brothers, Bill, Richard and Bud Butler and sisters, Myrtle Mason and Wanda Cooper. Funeral services for Danny Butler will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Timothy Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
