Jeanette Katherine Henderson

Jeanette K. Henderson, 83, of Highway 57, Tollesboro died Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was the widow of Asbury Fields Henderson who died February 15, 1990. Mrs. Henderson was born in Carlisle, Kentucky on June 22, 1930 the daughter of the late Opal Flack Henderson. She formerly worked at Jessie’s Grocery Store and was also engaged in farming. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Henderson, four sons, Randy Henderson, Bradley Henderson, Roger Henderson and Gary Henderson and one brother, Junior Henderson (Anita) all of Tollesboro. Besides her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlene Henderson, one sister, Rayette Dyer and four brothers, Charles Henderson, Adrian Henderson, Ancil Henderson and Shelby Henderson. Funeral services for Jeanette Henderson will be held at the Hickory Grove Church at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2013 with Bro. Tony Corns officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the hour of the service. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, 3725 Alexandria Pike,Cold Spring, KY 41076. The arrangements are under the direction of the Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
