

Naomi May Wills, 93, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2014 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley, Ohio. Naomi was born on Cabin Creek in Lewis County on March 21, 1920 the daughter of the late William and Osie Himes Mason. She was the loving wife of Albert McCabe Wills for fifty-nine years who preceded her in death on November 11, 1994. Naomi was a wonderful Christian woman. She enjoyed farming, especially raising her gardens. She loved to be with her family. She enjoyed cooking. One of her favorite things to do was attending church (Cottageville Mission Church). She always held on tight to her faith and devotion to God even once her mind deteriorated to Alzheimer’s. She was the mother of seven daughters and one granddaughter, Velma, Janet, Norma, Wilma, Cheryl, Linda, Betty and Jennifer. She is survived by Janet Polley Parker (Bob) of Cabin Creek, Norma Jean Cansler of Aberdeen, OH, Wilma Malone Hargett (Tim) of Maysville, KY, Linda Mineer Watson (Jay) of Maysville, KY, Betty “BJ” Jordan (Herb) of Vanceburg, KY and Jennifer Osborne (Duane) of Carlisle, KY; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Velma Louise Gaffin and Cheryl Ann Mason; one grandson Glen Mason; one granddaughter, Deborah Colemire; three great grandchildren, Travis Stamper, Micheal Hampton and McKenzie Brooke Chappelow; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services for Naomi May Wills will be held at the Cottageville Mission Church at 12:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014 with Pastor Jamie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery on Big Cabin Creek. Pallbearers will be Jarred Malone, Jeremey Wilburn, Stanley Mineer, Colton McCall, Jason Polley, Bradley Polley, Chas Guinn, Jacob Malone and Keith Mason. Visitation will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM.
