

Tollesboro - Randell Dean Baldwin, 56, of Vanceburg, Kentucky died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Randy, known as “Mr. Spoons” to many, loved life and music. His love for playing spoons amazed and touched so many people’s lives. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 9, 1958 the son of Peggy Brown McDaniel of Vanceburg, Kentucky and the late Harry Baldwin. Besides his mother Peggy, Randy is survived by his brother, Jeff Baldwin (Christa) of Vanceburg; three sisters, Robin Ruggles (Randy) and Donna Stout (Brad) both of Tollesboro, KY and Penny Lewis (Harry) of Vanceburg; two aunts, Carol Hughes and Jean Sauer both of Maysville, KY; nephews, Brandon Pollitt, Jeffrey Baldwin, Matt Stout, Donald Hampton, Eddie Gilbert, Ryan Calvert and Bryan Calvert; nieces, Lana McCoy and Kayla Hampton; several great nieces, great nephews and a host of family and friends. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Omar McDaniel and his paternal grandparents, Clifford and Alberta Baldwin and maternal grandparents, Alvin and Opal Brown. Funeral services for Randy Baldwin will be held at the Happy Hollow Church at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 15, 2015 with Pastor Brian Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Stout, Brandon Pollitt, Donald Hampton, Eddie Gilbert, Jeffrey Baldwin, Ryan Calvert and Bryan Calvert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lana McCoy and Kayla Hampton. Visitation will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM.
