Javier Valadez Ruan, 57, passed away on March 24, 2026 surrounded by family at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on July 2, 1968 in Phoenix and lived in the valley for his entire life.
He is survived by his children Anthony Ruan, Lozen Ruan, Monique Tafaro, and Maxie Ruan as well as the mother of his children/lifelong friend, Shannyn Pharo. His mother, Teresa Dominguez, his brother Elui Dominguez, and his sister Yvonne Rodriguez. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Christian, Sasha, and Joey as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herrardo Federico Ruan, and brothers, Herrardo (Jerry) Ruan, Robert Anthony Ruan, and Joe Patrick Ruan.
Javier was a loving and devoted father who put his family before everything else. He enjoyed spending time fishing, painting, building guns, and watching movies. He greatly loved his family and his husky, Kaia.
He will be remembered by his family for his leadership, fearlessness, and humor. He was a pillar of his family and will be deeply missed.
Per his wishes, services will not be held.
