Bubba, a brother to all, was named Rafael Castorena by his mother, Mary Herlinda Castorena. He appeared on the scene, ever jovial, with cachetes (chubby cheeks) and mesmerizing eyes, June 1, 1989. His Nana Carmen taught him to sing & be joyful since infancy. His Tata Cesar taught him never to accept "bullsh**", except when buying fertilizer. Since his older brother Manuel was just one year ahead of him, they learned to share everything, although Bubba's long eyelashes and smart little antics often garnered favor. On February 28, 2026 Bubba joined these family members residing in heaven. Loved ones remaining on this earthly side, so numerous and heartbroken, include younger siblings David, Mariah and Carmen. Bubba's light and love shall now be shared by our stories of our time with him, as we journey through life, reflecting on joyous times, and remembering that our Bubba is present with us in spirit.
