Roy was 71, born in Detroit Michigan to Ann Harman Rife and Col. Raymond Rife
Born into a Military family they moved to a new state every three years.
Michigan to Alabama to Idaho to Japan to New Mexico to Virginia to Hawaii.
Hawaii is where he went to high school, then they moved to California on Travis
Airforce Base. After the passing of his father, he moved to Texas, where he found
Jesus, later he moved back to California while doing migrant work in orchards and
fields before becoming a roofer. Then he specialized in Roy lived in the bay area
where he built his first Harley and later owned four to five more.
His love of Harley’s continued thru his life.
He later moved to Utah where the rest of his family had settled and went to truck
driving school, started driving in 1992, soon after met his wife Bonnie in Glendale, Az.
the love of His life. They married in May and bought a house in June of 1998
and lived in Buckeye, Az. 23 years Until his passing, Roy worked for a number of trucking
company’s, but his favorite Job was hauling oversized wind towers. He is survived by
his wife, Bonnie, and two sisters, Susan Gleed of Kaysville, Utah and Carol Davidson of
Ogden, Utah, three nieces, Alicia, Lindsey, and Anna and one nephew, Robert and
four grand nieces, Elle, Lucy, May, Sophia and one grand nephew Houston. All who
love and miss him, Roy was loved by people who knew him, he was hard working and respected
and valued by all his employers, he was kind and generous to all, he always said friends
where more about quality than quantity and choose his friends very carefully.
he loved the Lord Jesus Christ and we rejoice that he is now with Him.
The Lord Himself goes before you;
