

Annelie “Anne” D. Beszley, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on January 24, 2021, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Anne was born in Genk, Belgium, to the late Eric and Berit Bole and emigrated to the United States in 1952. She graduated from Toms River High School and worked at Bradlees in Toms River for over 30 years and subsequently worked for WaWa until her retirement in late 2015.
Anne will always be remembered for the boundless love and support she gave her children and how she always strived to make them feel special. She was an amazing mother who wanted to ensure that her children would have a lifetime’s worth of cherished memories. She loved to get out of the house and was willing to drive any distance to spend the day enjoying museums, restaurants, or just quality time together with her kids.
Anne was very creative and talented. She was a skilled crocheter and a natural at all types of arts and crafts. She loved flowers and possessed an enviable green thumb. She enjoyed walking in her younger days, and for many years she would go on walks lasting hours. Anne also loved to go shopping and had an eye for fashion.
Anne is survived by her spouse, Wasyl Beszley; daughter Jennifer Nuzzi and her husband Matthew of Briarcliff Manor, NY; son Walter Beszley of Lakewood, NJ; son Timothy Beszley of Lakewood, NJ; son Patrick Sean Scott and his wife Margareth of Cocoa, FL; and daughter Melissa Scott of Portland, OR. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Zelda Mae Nuzzi, Amber Elizabeth Scott, and Robert James Patrick Scott, in addition to her extended family and many friends. All who knew Anne are deeply saddened by her passing, and her beaming smile will be missed.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, February 4, from 9:30a-12p at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St, Toms River, NJ. A private funeral service and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River will follow.
